Paul McCartney in Moscow

Red Square Projects were honoured to be alongside Sir Paul McCartney on his first trip to Russia, helping to organise and promote the historic event – his only concert at the Moscow’s world famous Red Square.

Aliona Muchinskaya, Director of Red Square, also acted as Paul’s personal assistant and translator, finding the words to greet an excited crowd of 20,000 at the first concert by a ‘Beatle’ in Russia. She also accompanied the pop icon during a meeting with the last President of the Soviet Union Mikhail Gorbachev.
