The theme of this year's Ball celebrates the work of Russian best loved clown Yury Nikulin who became the director of the State Circus and founded the Moscow Peace Fund. In his name and with his support the boarding school number 15 for orphaned and abandoned children was opened in Moscow in 1995. Since this time its children have won many awards including the International Competition for circus artists in Stockholm.
